Fico Credit Score Range
Fico credit score range runs from 300–850, and is divided to 6 risk categories:
- 700–850 Excellent
- 680–700 Good
- 620–680 Average
- 580–620 Low
- 500–580 Poor
- 300–500 Bad

Understanding Fico Scores
Fico credit score has actually 3 different versions, each used for different purposes by different lenders:
- The “Factual” version is used by mortgage brokers.
- The “Auto Enhanced” version is used by car dealers.
- The “Standard” version is a generic version of Fico, and is the only version that’s available to consumers.
Because each version assigns different weights to different factors – the scores between them can vary by 50-100 points. All three versions run on the same scale from 300–850, as can be seen in the following graphic view of the Fico credit score range:
