TRW Bureaus Free Credit Report

TRW used to be a credit reporting agency back in the 80’s. Together with Fair Isaac it developed FICA credit score, which was abandoned in favor of FICO. TRW is now a corporation that has a number of businesses ventures, one of which is credit reporting. The credit reporting agency owned by TRW is known as Experian.

Consumers can order a single report from just a one credit bureau of their choice (called single-bureau credit report) or a combined report from all 3 bureaus (called 3-in-1 Credit Report). Most people order a combined report because it’s much easier to check compared to three single-bureau credit report.

Each of the 3 major credit bureaus also sells credit reports to consumers on their private websites, but these reports are NOT part of the free annual credit report and cost money.
