If I were to get approved for a credit card but then doesn’t activate it, would it still build me credit?
You need to actually use the card
Having credit cards don’t build credit. You must use the card and make payments.What builds credit history and credit score is an actual stream of positive information i.e. on time payments.
B.T.Y, for new accounts – you have to use the new account for at least 6 months before it begins to count in your FICO score.
