The government has made it possible for everybody to get a Free Annual Credit Report from the 3 major credit bureaus – Equifax, Experian and Trans-Union every 12 months
In order to check credit personal report you need to actually pull your three credit reports from the three major credit bureaus. The ONLY way to get them is from http://www.annualcreditreport.com. This site is government regulated, and was set up by the 3 major credit bureaus for this purpose exactly.
The site provides three ways to pull your 3-in-1 credit report (a combines report that includes your combined personal information from the three bureaus): online, by mail or over the phone. If you request them online you can view, print or download them instantly.
Avoid Goggling “free credit reports” or similar search terms. There are many imposter sites that either try to steal information from you, or charge you a fee for a service that’s free by law!
