Try these
What I usually do when I’m out on a series of early dates with someone is to ask my date some fun questions that allow him to reveal his financial behavior without making him feel like he’s being interrogated.
For example, I ask my date:
– Does he plan on taking a vacation this year, and if so – where?
– Did he do anything fun with his tax refund last year?
– What would he spend an unexpected windfall or cash on?
– “I’m not happy with my bank and looking for a new one” – is he happy with his?
Naturally, you should be prepared to answer these and/or similar question yourself…
This way you can gain precious information about your date’s financial behavior and philosophy.
